RE: STUCK IN SAND @ CORPUS CHRISTI, PADRE ISLAND

We folded our two 9x12 outdoor rugs into 3x9 runners & put them under the rear wheels (with a little help from the levelers). Got her up & rolling over the sand & never let off until we hit the pavement.

RE: 10,000 RVs Store Closing

Naw, 10,000 rv has been around since 82, I bought my rig from them in 04. A few months back they relocated next to La Mesa & Holland. The owners was interviewed on the news & said it was just time to go, sounded like he was closing before the losses would drag him down.
Unfortunately, their closing means I’ve been orphaned by my dealer as well!!

RE: please help,,, gen problems

My 7.5 has a similar problem as well, and searching this forum did not turn up any related help.
I assume you are using your dash or remote switch & there are no error codes, is there a way you can disconnect or isolate the switch? Then you could try the genset mounted switch & if it works, you've found the problem. If not, you haven't spent anything yet!

RE: Kendall Trailering bikes?

On short trips I haul a legalized Honda XR650R on a hitch rack good for 500 pounds total. This arrangement keeps the rig light & manuverable, & I can legaly cruise in CA at higher speeds without a trailer.
No experience with the Kendall trailer thought.

RE: New Motorhome/Towed after got home?

10 months into ownership, a broken wire killed power to the ECU on top of the Grapevine on I-5 & got towed 60 miles or so to the nearest Freightliner shop. Since then, the waranty expired & I've enjoyed three years of trouble-free camping. Hang in there, your turn will come.

RE: Warranty Responsibility

Do dealers cheat? Absolutely! They also get caught on a regular basis.
No doubt, & since I never followed through in this instance, I'll never know if this dealer was going to cheat.
Fortunately, my warrantee calls dropped to nothing by the end of the first year of ownership. But I know this trouble-free sweet-spot I'm experiencing will everntually expire & I'll have to find a good shop to patronize!

RE: Warranty Responsibility

My dealer required pre-approval & they'd take care of it. They called the next day to tell me the factory had given the green light. A week later, I cancelled & drove the 100 miles or so to the factory. They pulled up the pre-approved list & I noticed everything I wanted done was there... and a lot of other things. Typos? I'm guessing I would have never seen what the factory was getting billed for. The unfortunate thing is I can no longer use the factory either...

RE: Emergency Road Service

Another happy Coach Net user here. Lost all power to the ECU on top of the Grapevine on I-5 & got towed 60 miles or so to the nearest Freightliner shop. According to the driver it would have been a $1,200 job!

RE: Which licence No. Letter allowed on which day in Mexico City

The "ontheroadin" website also caries the letters/numbers allowed, See here
But they don't cover the double-days shown on the Mexican site above!
